PERSPECTIVE 🫶🏻
Sunday is very my favorite day of the week. After a long week of work and stress, it’s the perfect remedy to reset and recharge. Brunch and church is typically on our schedule for the day, catching up on puppy snuggles and being outside when the sun comes out 🌞
Sunday could be a really busy day for you - catching up on house work and laundry or maybe working a 12 hour shift. On the other hand, your Sunday may look like staying in your jams and having family dinner after your second nap of the day, binge watching your fave show ✨
No matter what your Sunday looks like, don’t forget to take a breath 🤍 give yourself grace. ground yourself in joy and peace knowing everything will work out and be okay sister.
I’ve been thinking a lot about life and what the “greater good” might look like.. it hasn’t been pretty but I do have peace knowing my God has me in the palm of his hand, watching over me and our little family.
I thank god every day for my capable body and my career, i feel so blessed to do what I do - it’s connecting with others and being there for someone who needs it, aside from getting their hair done. Even though I am going through a lot myself, when I am taking care of others my negative perspective shifts into reminding myself I’m not alone + everything’s working out for me.
Sometimes all you need is a little perspective for a change of heart🤍

is my number one in the salon for protecting and rebuilding hair. She leaves your hair feeling like b u t t e r in addition to that SHINE ✨
has amazing resources on their page that dives deep into the chemistry make up 🤓 essentially the product molecules are tiny enough to wiggle their way into the cortex of the hair strand & then they get to work! The molecular repair system rebuilds the broken disulfide bonds, ((from chemical services, heat styling + uv damage, normal wear and tear)) and leaves your hair stronger than before, after every use!
FAQ:
+do I put it on wet or dry? WET - your cuticle expands open when wet so this allows the molecules to enter in
+when do I put it in? AFTER SHAMPOO AND DONT CONDITION - wash your hair like normal, towel dry and apply mids to ends. A little goes a long way! *the serving size is 2-3 pumps depending on how much hair you have
+do I rinse it out? NOPE - it’s a leave in mask, allow the 4 minutes to pass and then apply your normal styling products!

PRO TIPS TO MAKE YOUR CURLS LAST
🤎 always always brush out your curls AFTER they’re cold to touch! If you brush your curls out while they’re still warm, chances are they won’t “set” properly and they’ll fall flat quicker
🦋 mist your curls with a texture spray or a hairspray before you brush them - this is key to a long lasting hold
I love OSIS hairspray + texture dust for this
🌙 of course using a ceramic iron is my personal preference - this allowed me to glide through the hair with ease, giving equal heat distribution throughout your section - in return your curls will stay for a longer period of time. Your hair will fall flat if you’re not using a proper distribution of heat
My forever fave is my - here we used the 1.25” long barrel
