Before you meet Katie, there are some things you should know.

She is a professional yapper with approximately 47 things happening at any given moment—and somehow, they’re all actually getting done.

Do not casually mention a hair problem around her unless you have 20 minutes, because you will leave understanding the science behind it, what you’re doing wrong, what product you need, and probably how to use it.

She will say, “I have an idea,” and you need to understand that this could mean anything from a 15-second TikTok to an entire business venture, a salon makeover, or a DIY project that absolutely did not need to happen today.

She owns too many notebooks. This will not stop her from buying another notebook.

She is fueled primarily by caffeine, ambition, and beverages she purchased because they “looked good.” Somehow, actual water remains an afterthought.

She takes content very seriously. You may think you’re just going somewhere cute. You’re not. You’re potentially entering a filming location. Do not touch anything until she determines whether the lighting is good.

If she says, “I just need one quick shot,” cancel your next appointment.

She can turn literally anything into content. Hair appointment? Content. Farmers market? Content. DIY project? Content. Weird comment someone left her? Congratulations—you’re tomorrow’s TikTok.

She has a little bit of a shopping problem, but she would probably argue that most of it is for content, which is technically a business expense in her heart.

She’s funny, a little sassy, extremely particular, and if something doesn’t make sense to her, she is going to ask why until it does.

And perhaps most importantly:

Do not underestimate her.

Because while she may look like she’s running around with an iced coffee, three unfinished ideas, a camera, a hair tool, and a notebook she absolutely did not need…

she has a plan.

Well.

Usually.

And if she doesn’t, she’ll make one by the time you figure out she didn’t. 😂

Basically: proceed with caffeine and good lighting. You’ve been warned. 💅🏽😂
