When there are a swirl of activities and gatherings around you, and all you really want is to be alone, to dance, to play guitar and to integrate life π«
Today, Iβm basking in gratitude for epic dance floors and vibey tracks that inspire your body to move and your hips and shoulders to open. Basking in gratitude for the blessed heart medicine of cacao, and all the possibility in living with a heart wide open π

WACOMAYA | The very first song I fell in love with and was inspired to learn and sing during my first dieta with the Yawanawa πππΌ
Appreciating the feeling of my seat on a stump, sun on my face, the freshness of post-rain air, and the sweet feeling of friendship within my instruments. Especially during these uncertain times ~ they are here ~ whispering sweet nothings, asking for intimacy, deepening, commitment.
Part of my current Journey with music is to press βRecordβ on my computer and film myself playing a song - then I press play, close my eyes, and listen to how it sounds and feels. Learning the instrument of my own voice through listening, noticing itβs current patterns and habits. At this moment in my musical journey, itβs been so powerful to really know my voice, relaxing into itβs unique way, while also becoming aware of any tendencies that feel rushed, out of breath or are trying too hard. A sure and beautiful metaphor for life π
Appreciating the way simple and spacious feels and sounds ππΌ
Every now and then, I feel called to make it public β¨

Phone Hiatus Beginning Today! With the coming of Spring Iβm feeling a strong pull into deeper presence and listening without the input from a world that is not here with me now. Feeling truly so excited to take myself off social media for the time being and also create more boundaries with touching my phone, going a day or some with it on airplane mode.
Honoring the perfection of lifeβs ebb and flows, and also the limitless of what is possible when we resource ourself and take time to connect to the infinite intelligence that lives within
Blessed be! Sweet love from my heart and home to yours

Few ways better to integrate and rejuvenate after a rich weekend and celebrate the earth entry of my magnificent husband than soaking in hot springs, basking in sunshine, and receiving the swift sensuous strokes of an Esalen massage β¨
Forever grateful for the abundant nature and fierce force of this Visionary man! What a gift it is to play in this game of life together; rising in Love, and surrendering more deeply to the support and love of one another ππΌ To another year of loving, playing, pleasuring, and creating. To new beginnings and new ways of being!

Teamwork truly makes the dream work! In awe of all that blossomed into being over these last 3 days. 30 people gathering, working, enjoying, working, loving, creating... tipi was erected, path was created, fire burning, redwood chipped, roof cleared, space made, deck forming, dreams ignited, friendships formed, family forming, visions actualized and so much more β¨
Now time to integrate and rest π @ Ben Lomond, California

Centered within. Aligned. In holy communion with that which is. Planting roots, watering seeds, blooming in perfect time. In sweet reverence to the pulse that lives within, breathes without and connects all that lives.
Slowing down, relishing in the spacious, lingering moments that surround the present. Life as poetry, a sacred song, a masterful art piece, a harmonizing of instruments creating a perfect symphony of sounds
ππΉππ¦β¨π
Appreciating what happens in the slowing down, aligning and releasing expectations. The human journey softens, opens becomes more poetic, more artistic, less realistic, less rationalized⦠a dream, a game, a perfectly white canvas, a romance and a love affair, a song awaiting the chance to be sung.
Celebrating deep trust, self awareness, discipline and support as allies on this Journey of being Human
Cultivating greater appreciation for and commitment to the Art of Sacred Living, and to the Path of Pleasure

One of the themes that emerged for me with the entrance of 2020 was around the deeper felt experience of prayer. While time will tell how this manifests into my life, what I do know is that itβs intimately connected to nature. Living in the midst of a forest, surrounded by strong healthy redwoods I continuously find myself just looking at them ~ utterly in awe of their way of being. Strength, stillness, togetherness. Sharing a language that speaks in the silence.
This song, Ancient Mother (by Sacred Earth), has always touched me and to me, embodies the beauty of nature and prayer in a beautiful dance of a song. Feeling so grateful for the teachings of the trees inviting me from a long period of doing into a new chapter of being. Dropping into a sweet spaciousness that is opening a door for more creating.
Grateful and forever in service to the path of surrendering to what is and is to be (which ironically involves daily discipline and conscious effort in the ever evolving learning of surrender receiving and expressing π³πππ€!)

As I emerge from the precious cocoon of sisterhood and fly away from an incredible week with for her kundalini prenatal yoga teacher training, one of the many words dancing in my heart is PRIMAL. Iβm coming to know that a woman can begin to thrive and know who they truly are when they recognize themselves as primal beings. S*x is primal. Birth is primal. The question then becomes: how much of our primal self do we let ourself express?
The Earth expresses herself through the seasons, through rain, thunderstorms, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions. There is an instinctual wisdom that in order to maintain elemental balance there must be a shaking out, a letting go, a recalibration. Honoring the sacred journey of recognizing and celebrating ourselves as elemental beings, where we too need to shake, cry, rest, and move in ways that bring us to balance.
Today we watched a movie of a midwife giving birth to her baby girl at home, her birth experience being guided by the wisdom of the exact body that created that child. She listened to the messages of her body and moved around her space as she felt guided. She was extremely present to her body, to the sensations, in full trust of herself, her child, and her body. A perfect choreography of sound, breath, movement all in grand support of the ultimate ultimate release, the deepest letting go. An experience that comes not from numbing, but from feeling. Not from fear, but from trust. Not from control, but surrender. Truly the greatest ceremony of oneβs life!
In deep reverence to all that is primal, and to the courage, sensitivity and intuitive sense that lives within every woman. May we all feel supported in living who we truly are!

Looking Up β¨
Celebrating the profound feeling of being HOME! We received the keys to our country chic mountain home one week ago, and for the first time in what feels like a while, iβm taking a big exhale. What an interesting, awesome, and empowering last 5 weeks it has been ~ expanding, grounding, relaxing into the feeling of arriving. Head is slowly lifting up from being so focused on this home purchase process and now beginning to relish in inspiration and creative vision trickling in π« Beyond grateful for the profound presence of magic throughout this manifestation and the sweet support of so many. Visitors welcome!

A Lions Gate Prayer β¨π
Every morning, as part of my Sacred Morning Practice, I make it a point to use my voice.
Whether thatβs through a mantra meditation, humming, toning, singing a song, singing or speaking my intentions or voicing a prayer, there is something to beginning the day by connecting inward and opening the voice in that space: sometimes my voice feels shy or shaky, sometimes it feels deeply resourced and resonant, but it always always feels good to meet my voice where it is and lovingly nurture it into a fuller expression.
This part of my practice feels instrumental in speaking and sharing my voice from an authentic place.... as well as continuing the exploration of whats available and possible π«β¨π
