17 months later and look at the transformation. 😌 Her now locs, that started off as braids, have swelled, matured and filled in. She has gained length and volume. This is why I tell my clients to trust the process. Your install is the beginning, not the finished product. Micro locs need time, that’s all. 🤷🏾‍♀️❤️

I love doing micro locs and maintaining them, I really do but I also wanna get into doing more natural hair styles. I asked my bestie if could I do some braids on her with her natural hair. I did her a Biotin mask, washed it (using Design Essentials), gave her a trim and braided her up all within 3 hours. I also steamed it while I added the finishing touches! Would this be a service you’d be interested in? Why or why not? You can also do the twists as well.

She unfortunately had to comb out her previous set of micro locs so she came to me for a redo and I was more than happy to do so. ❤️ her hair was fine and lower density so she did the braids, she had a previous set of twists.

Would you believe me if I said these were started off as braid extensions? She’s 2.5 years in, overall she had MAYBE 4 to slip but after that first 6 months it’s been a breeze. She now comes every 8 weeks. From the root to the end it’s the same size. ❤️ These also were much shorter, they came at about her shoulders now it’d past it. She loves them.

Yes…I take transfer clients but it’s a process and not everyone gets approved. ❤️
This client here is one, her last retie was in April. I had to go in a clean up her grid as best as I could and repair some locs. Some did marry but we separated, we also had to combine a couple due to thinning but nonetheless after about 7 hours we were done.
