You’re sewing this baby from ear tab to ear tab — but not on the lace! Here’s how:
Attach it just behind the ear tabs (near the temples) on both sides.
Placement matters! The band should rest at the nape of your neck once it’s on — that’s what creates that light tension for a natural-looking melt.
- Too high = lace lift.
- Too low = bunched-up back.

A while back, I took a dreamy trip to Cancun and checked something off my bucket list: swimming with dolphins! But here's the twist—I did it all while wearing a wig, and it did not budge. Yup, you read that right.
If you're planning a water adventure and want to keep your wig secure (and photo-ready), here are my slip-proof tips just for my Zamora Fam and wig besties:
💡 1. Use an Elastic Band
Before you even touch the water, make sure your lace is laid flat with an elastic band. This keeps everything secure and natural-looking—even after a splash or two.
🧵 2. Sew It Down
Bobby pins? Not enough. For active water sports, sewing your wig down at the temples or into your braids is a game-changer. It keeps your install snug and stress-free.
💦 3. Style in a Bun or Braid
Wearing your wig down in the water is a no-go. Opt for a sleek bun, low ponytail, or braid to reduce tangling and movement. Plus, it's a cute vacation vibe!
