**2. Balancing Act**: Women often find themselves in a dilemma – they want a natural look, but they also desire their tattoos to last 5 to 10 years 😅. Allow me to explain:

**a. Depth Matters**: To ensure durability, the tattoo ink needs to pe*****te deep beneath the skin, resulting in a darker color, often tending towards blue. While it's possible to make tattoos that last 20 years, they may not look aesthetically pleasing. Imagine having dark eyebrows for that long – it might not be the best choice 🥲.

**b. Skin Aging**: Our skin ages over time, especially around the eyes where crow's feet can appear after 30. As the skin ages, it tends to sag, including the area around the eyes and eyebrows. So, dark and long-lasting tattoos might lead to undesirable changes as time goes on.

Linestrokes is one of the newest techniques in the market.

As you know, microblading cuts your skin with a microscopic blade to create hair-like strokes. This particular method is not recommended for oily skin, thin blood, scarred tissue, diabetics and those who have previously had their brows done.

With this new technique, linestrokes, each stroke is thinner than microbladed brows. However if this technique is not executed correctly then you will not achieve the desired results.

Linestrokes uses an extremely thin needle and a digital machine to create fine hair strokes without cutting or damaging the skin. Therefore, this methodology is suitable for all skin types including diabetics who have their blood sugar regulated.

The healing process is faster because there aren’t any cuts to the skin. Scabbing is minimal and flakes off. In addition, linestrokes retains up to 99% of the pigment and lasts up to 3 years.

Cover old tattoos by hairstrokes mix Shading

As you know, microblading is a technique of creating fake hair by cutting on the skin with a supper small blade, so it has its limitations.

1- Microblading does not work well on oil skin

Pigment doesn't absorb well into oily skin. If you're paying several hundred dollars for the perfect eyebrows, you want them to last longer than a year. Because microblading is done with a series of cuts to the brow, oily skin can impact the healing and fading process.

2 - Microblading does not work on blood thinner

Thinning the blood may result in a greater chance of bleeding during the procedure, which can make it hard to implant the pigment into the skin. If the pigment struggles to stay into the skin then you will lose your microbladed strokes

3 - Microblading does not work well on scars

When you choose to get microblading over a scar it is important to know that you will most likely require more touch-ups. The skin isn't as thick and in its natural state so even though it is completely safe, it is good to know the pigment color may not stay as well.

4 - Microblading does not work on diabetes

Microblading causes small shallow wounds on the skin, the healing of which will be complicated if your blood sugar is high. People with uncontrolled diabetes have poor wound healing because there is less oxygen supply to the tissues and fewer blood vessels.

5 - Microblading does not work on previous work

It is often not possible to use microblading to correct previous work. This is due to microblading being a very light method of micropigmentation. If the previous SPMU pigment (ink) has been deposited too deep and has a dark shadow effect: it then becomes very difficult to cover because the artist will not be able to create the natural effect that microblading is known for as it will not hold over saturated previous work.

Another factor to consider is that it can be difficult to fix the previous shape: in fact it is very difficult to recreate the perfect shape when the permanent make up is outside of the outline where it’s supposed to be. In these cases I will not simply “go over” the previous incorrect shape as some artists do as you would be reinforcing bad work. In these cases I will suggest removal first

😍😍😍 Good news is we can usually Hairstrokes over previously tattooed eyebrows if they have lightened enough and the ink wasn't implanted too deep into the skin. This is important because we take extra caution on proper depth and want to provide the most natural results
