Mother’s Day holds a different kind of meaning for me.

💔 I lost my mother when I was 16 after watching her courageously fight cancer for three years.

During that time, I helped care for her in the ways I knew how, never realizing those moments would quietly shape the path of my life. They ultimately led me into nursing — into caring for others during vulnerable, deeply human moments.

Her absence has never lessened the impact of her love. I carry her with me every day, in the way I care for people, in the compassion I try to give, and in the life I’ve built. On Mother’s Day, I feel her presence even more deeply.
