With all the technology out there and claims by every aesthetic equipment manufacturer that theirs is the best or making promises about results that are unattainable, it's no wonder why patients get to my office confused and disillusioned. Patients attempt to do the research hoping to make the right decision for their needs, and their wallets, only to become more confused and sometimes unfortunately, find themselves having made the wrong choice.

In my aesthetic practice the importance of patient education is one of the most important aspects (second only to safety) of the relationship with my patients. My job is not to sell them on a treatment; rather it is to equip the patient with all of the necessary information to help them make an educated decision to resolve their individual issue. We discuss the most likely cause of their issue, I offer suggestions on the best and most effective technology based on the individual, give honest expectations on the level of correction the patient can expect to receive and encourage each patient to consider everything we've discussed before making his/her final decision. At the end of the day I know that I've done my best to thoroughly educate each patient.
