A fresh trim can do a lot for the look and feel of your hair, but speeding up growth isn’t one of them.

Hair growth happens at the follicle in the scalp, so cutting the ends doesn’t change how quickly new hair grows. Regular trims can, however, remove split or damaged ends and help reduce further breakage.
