Question for today: What are you living for?

Your job? That will replace you when you leave?
Your money? That you will leave behind?
Status? When you have struggles like everyone else?

We get one shot at life. Live like it can end at any moment, because it can.

We are not the author of our own lives. Sure, we can absolutely make life altering decisions, good or bad. But we don’t get to decide when our time is up.

So, what are you living for? Better yet, what are you waiting for? What takes up space in your mind?

What do you idolize over the significant fulfillment in Christ?

Other people? Maybe you can’t stand that one person, or those multiple people.

Christs love was enough for them, the same as it is for you. Do you trust that?

When you let go and understand that the Cross was enough, you begin to understand what the True Joy of the Lord is. A Joy that does fulfill. Freedom. FREEDOM!!

You see fountains of friendship rather than drains. No longer exhausted by comparing what others have that you don’t. Or what others did that you wouldn’t have. Maybe the Lord led them there. To that decision.

Let go of the grasp on your life. Open your palms and allow Christ to use the things around you for His good. Not because He wants to pluck them from your hands, but because they may be plucking you from His.

Live like you have a purpose, because you do.
