Did you know that only TWO sunscreen ingredients are deemed safe by the FDA? Zinc oxide and titanium dioxide are classified as safe and effective for our skin. Not surprisingly they are also the only reef safe ingredients as well. Sunkissed by Maui contains non-nano zinc oxide and is safe, amazing, nourishing and just a must-have!

We are excited and honored the Hawai'i Wildlife Discovery Center has partnered with us! You can now purchase our reef safe sunscreen in this amazing place that blends art and science to teach you about the Hawaiian wildlife and oceans. It's non-profit, and entrance is donation based. If you haven't visited yet, you can find them on the 3rd floor at Whalers Village in Lahaina - it's a fun place for both keiki and adults!

We are continuing on this journey, and there is no one I'd rather do it with than my daughter ❤️
I know I am up against some big shots in this industry - but big shots and I don't share the vision of what a good sunscreen is. Big shots care about money and care about pretty much nothing else. I care about clean ingredients, keeping our oceans healthy, and making sure our keiki are not slathered with poison everytime they put sunscreen on. That's why I do what I do, and my daughter is my biggest inspiration ❤️

Our website is open until Tuesday May 24th - after that please find our products in stores on Maui. We will be taking some time off to rejuvenate, and will be open again for business at the end of July. Mahalo everyone for your continued support as we try to replace toxic sunscreens with reef- and skin friendly sunscreens instead - one jar at a time.

Do you speak the same language as your sunscreen? Can you PRONOUNCE the ingredients? If your answer is no, it's time to swap it for a reef safe sunscreen that not only protects our oceans, but also your skin. We only use high quality ingredients and no fillers. Our tinted sunscreen can be worn on your face or on your body. Once you blend it, it blends so well that it can be used as a foundation - and why wouldn't you use this as face care when it contains yummy, organic oils that are anti-age, anti-inflammatory and super nourishing?

It has been hard for me to post beautiful photos and living a careless life here, while there is a war going on close to my home in Europe. I also have extended family suffering through this in Ukraine. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Ukrainian people, who have shown such bravery and resilience throughout this attack. Today is Ukrainian Solidarity Day on Maui, and we stand by the Ukrainian people.
