Women like Annie Turnbo Malone, paved the way for women like me in the hair care industry. Annie developed a chemical product that straightened African American hair without damage. She later expanded her hair care line to include other beauty products, like her popular Wonderful Hair Grower. We can also thank her for developing and patenting the pressing comb.
