👋🏻 Hi & welcome to all of my new friends! I’m Rachel & I’m here to help with any of your hair and scalp needs. I don’t post a whole lot…but I do stay busy behind the chair 💇🏼‍♀️. I am always learning new ways to make it easier for you to rock fabulous hair every day of the week. When I’m not at the Studio I’m probably covered in dog hair loving every minute of it; I’m one of those, works hard so my pups don’t have to 😂. I love color retouches with natural finishes. Summer is right around the corner to add the pops of brightness in before the ☀️ does!

Her business journey started with cosmology school in high school. She started as a hairdresser in 2005, later transitioned to having her own booth at a studio in 2016, then finally had her own studio in November 2019!

Biggest cheerleaders through business journey - Her mom and husband

What motivates you? With hairdressing, to know she makes people feel better about themselves. As a business owner, keeping her WHY in mind and knowing the lifestyle she wants to build and live.

What is one thing you wish you knew when you started your business? Never let your foot 🦶 off the gas ⛽️ Don’t brake when you think you’re doing fine or you’ll go backwards.

Pro hair tip - Don’t kill it! Heating your hair too much hurts it. Give it the moisture it needs💧

Favorite hobby- She loves being in the sun at home with her pets ☀️ 🏡 🐶 🐶 🐱

Fun fact/trivia - She would love to open a dog rescue some day! 🐶 They rescued their pitbulls, so she has a plan in her mind how she would build and run a rescue if she hit the jackpot 💰 and had the chance to some day.

Favorite food for Thanksgiving 🦃- Homemade mac and cheese and collard greens.

Do you feel like your blonde turns yellow or brassy too quick and you’re not loving you’re hair all the way from one appointment to the next?

Well I’ll let you in on a little secret…
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Toners don’t last forever, but there are things that you can do to help them last longer!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- Wash your hair in cool water. If you are washing in hot water, it’s just opening up that cuticle and washing your toner down the drain.
- Wash your hair less often. The less you wash your hair the longer it will last.
- Use a high quality salon shampoo and conditioner. They are made to protect your colour and prevent fading. Think of it like insurance for your hair, you are protecting your investment.
- Turn down your hot tools and don’t use them as often.
It’s proven! Having you’re hot tools turned to the max will not only damage your hair and cause breakage but it will also help take that toner right out! And let’s be real, no one wants that!
