Hey friends, I thought I’d start sharing a little piece of the world I love — the Alaskan way of cooking. Out here, food isn’t just about eating, it’s about heart, simplicity, and the stories that come with every meal. Whether it’s fresh salmon from the river or a hot bowl of halibut chowder on a cold evening, every dish reminds us how good life can be when we slow down and savor it.

So grab a plate, pull up a chair, and let’s cook together — the Alaskan way. ❤️

Here are a few classic Alaskan-style recipes you could totally try out.

1. Alaskan Salmon Bake
• Fresh salmon fillets
• Olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt, pepper, and dill
• Bake at 375°F for about 15–20 minutes
👉 Simple, healthy, and full of flavor — Alaskans love their salmon!

2. Reindeer Sausage Breakfast Skillet
• Reindeer sausage (or smoked sausage if you can’t find it)
