The weather finally confirms that FALL IS HERE!

Now is the best time to stop by the store as grab some of those fall fragrances that you love.
This time of year moves fast... so I will be moving over to holiday/winter scents before we know it.

Find us at 70 W Main Street in Waynesboro. As a reminder, the rotary parking lot has free parking for anyone that can't find spaces out front. You can follow all the free parking signs throughout town to find it.

What am I up to today?

I am testing a new recipe for Body Wash/Bubble Bath/Beard Wash.
This recipe should speed up the process of making those items, but as usual, I refuse to sacrifice quality. If it doesn't perform as well as my original recipe, we scrape it.

I will follow up in a bit to let you guys know how it goes.

I am making lotions today.

Did you know that my lotions, along with just about every product I make, is designed for a little to go a long way?

The amount I have in my hand in this picture is enough to moisture both of my hands and a little of my forearms. This would be about half a pump if you use my 8oz square bottles. A full pump is enough to do your hands and your forearms completely.

I am restocking Brazilian Bo***ir today and a few of the Graybeard's scents.

What other scents would you like to see me stock during this remake?

We recently hit 3000 followers. A number that I feel like I have been trying to hit for 2 years. The majority of those new followers came from a reel I had made of the Gal's Night - Witch Dance. I don't know if I can ever live up to the expectation that the video has created, but here we are and WELCOME.
Since there are so many new here, I am going to share some facts about me. Buckle up. Its a long one... also, get used to that. I talk/type A LOT.

1. I own this page and the business that goes with it. It is a bath & body business called bathe. On any given day, I have zero idea what I am doing or how to run a business, but here we are 8 years later 😂 Oh, and I literally make everything you see on this page or in my store.
2. I’m an actual licensed esthetician as of this past April. Do I use that license, nope. Not yet anyway. I needed to take a mental health break from bathe. and life not long after completing the required testing and I am just easing into the decisions I need to make in order to run a business and rip the hair out of people's bodies.... because waxing is about the only service I have interest in. There is no way I can provide a relaxing service to anyone. 😂
3. That last one leads into my brain. I don't think it works quite like it should. 🤔 Mostly because of the raging ADHD... even medicated, its chaos in there. My brain is always on 10 even if my body is on a 2.
4. I have four dogs: three Chihuahuas, Oliver, Stanley, and Eleanor. Plus Mabel, an Olde English Bulldogge. So basically three tiny security alarms and one bulldozer. Unfortunately, the bulldozer doesn't like other dogs, so life is always a good time at our house.
5. About Mabel. I truly believe she is my soul animal. I love all my dogs but there is just a connection with Mabel that I can't explain. She also comes to our store with me every day. She hangs out in our loft in the back where she has a whole couch to herself and 3 huge windows of sunshine. She will occasionally waddle down to great customers that she likes.
6. I like to keep my hair random colors. Why? Because I spent so much of my life worried about upsetting or disappointing other people. At 48, I still care about those things, but I am going to care with fun hair. I may even adventure into dread extentions one day... because I like them even if no one else does.
7. I become obsessed with things that I currently enjoy. Foods, colors, hobbies, etc. I’m currenly obsessed with the color green, dinners made with white beans, and naps. I am actually supposed to be painting a section of our store that will be set up to do workshops that I am 100% painting a bright pea soup green. Google Sherwin Williams loneliest color of the year. Bonus: I hate painting walls.
8. I love creepy things and cozy things in almost equal measure. Ghosts, old asylums, horror movies, witchy stuff... but also Harry Potter, fantasy audiobooks, and whimsical little shops. So essentially I wanna be like...“something may be haunting this place, but it's adorable and I want it to be my friend.”
9. I make an alarming number of decisions based on whether something "feels right" or "I literally can not make another decision today, so let's go with what is less likely to cause me to have a meltdown".
10. My sense of humor tends to live somewhere between cynical and mildly inappropriate. If something is a little dark, sarcastic, weird, or makes someone think that maybe they shouldn't say that, I will probably find it hilarious.
11. I believe people should just be good people. Be kind to each other, don't say anything if you only want to be hateful, and don't feel like it is ok to treat people poorly just because you are safe behind a phone. Even typed words that are mean are gross and have no place here.
12. I just want everyone to be happy. Whatever you choose to be, I hope you love it and it brings you joy. I want people to succeed in all they do. I want people to feel like they have a place to belong and can enjoy life without fear of being judged. I certainly hope I bring that energy into bathe. with me and people see it.

So I am super excited to do a workshop for this. I taught myself how to do macrame in 2020 when there wasn't a whole lot else to do. If you have ever taken notice to the big macrame hanging in the store... that was my first ever piece.... because I live by a go big or go home attitude. Lol.

Anyway, let me know what would be a good day and time for a workshop like this. Keep in mind that it would be a minimum of 3 hours. It is likely that some may need additional time, and thats ok.

I am planning a workshop for this Macrame Pumpkin Floral Hanging.
I would like to get an idea of how many I could possibly expect.

The cost would be $45 each.
During the workshop, I will teach you some basic macrame knots and walk you through the whole process.
It will take APPROXIMATELY 3 hours.
The size is 10 inches wide and about 8 inches tall before adding decorations.

Unfortunately, he woke up today feeling a little under the weather and had to work all day, but nothing gets this man down. He is always the happiest, funniest guy around. 🖤

We got ourselves a new wax warmer...

If you saw my broken glass post a few weeks ago, you will remember that I did something really dumb and had a big accident. Unfortunately, our old wax warmer was a casualty in the crash. We rarely used it because I don't love making wax melts, but as we were doing some clean up, Joe aka Mr. Graybeard's said he would make them. Soo... new wax melter has been secured.
We likely won't do a ton of them, just like before, but it is nice to have some of our favorite scents available for ourselves and you.

I will follow up and let everyone know how this adventure goes in a few days.

I feel like every Sunday since we decided to add Sunday hours has kinda been dreary. Dreary, sleepy Sundays are a foot traffic killer....but a nap takers DREAM!

I try and use sundays as a day to catch up on stuff around the store, but even for me they are dreary and sleepy, so I never accomplish as much as I’d like to. Today, I am going to try really hard to do some cleaning up in the back of the store and *maybe* get some wall painting started.... I really dislike painting, so I have no idea why past Mandy thought this was a good idea. She is dumb. 😂😂😂

Anyway, we are open today from 10am to 2pm.

I still have some goodies left from last night witchy themed Gals Night.

Believe it or not, I didn't sell a single whipped cleanser and those used to be my best selling item. But, I actually sold almost all of my lotions, which isn't usually the biggest hit. Funny how different events can change top selling items.

Oh, and my Cleanse that Sh*t idea came from my friends over at . I saw her post a body spray yesterday called Sage that Sh*t... it is a Sage and Lavender scented spray. I loved the idea so much and knew it was perfect for last night's event. If you love horror themed goodies as much as I do, give them a follow! I love to see what all she comes up with. Side note, I met them at Paracon... and if you have followed me for a while, you know how much I love that kind of stuff!

For my quick version I whipped up yesterday for the Gals Night, I didn't have a sage scent available to me, so I mixed a basil, sage, and mint fragrance with 2 types of lavender fragrances. One very herbal and the other very floral.
