A lifestyle brand that prioritizes health, wellness and most importantly, sustainability. IG-perpetual_evolution I'm just a guy that loves exercising, and giving nutritional advice to those that need it.

This channel isn't a diet plan, or a quick fix weight loss scheme. It’s just me, sharing my lifestyle with anyone who is looking for something more. The channel will consist of a variety of different content. From videos on nutrition, meal prepping, creative and healthy recipes that you can do at home, to fitness routines, tips and cues on weightlifting, and an all inclusive variety of health and wellness. I have lived and breathed on both ends of the “health” spectrum. As a young child/adolescent growing up in South Carolina, I played baseball full time, as well as spent most of my evenings running around the neighborhood and woods with my friends exploring. However, by the time I reached high school, I found myself leading a dangerously sedentary lifestyle comprised of junk food, video games and very little physical activity. I only mention this because I can truly relate to the challenges you may be facing, and I can help.

Also, for all of you can't seem to find a way to force down that casein protein before bedtime (if you aren't sure what I'm talking about, please message me so I can explain the importance of casein protein supplements), here are some great recipes that are my go to at night. It also is a great way to satiate that sweet tooth before bed that can be a major downfall for us all, some more than others! My favorites are the cookie dough pudding, and the cookies. I'm going to have to give those Eclairs a try, though! Supplement your muscles and stay fuller longer with these recipes using casein protein powder. Hey guys! Just a piece of advice I thought some of you busier folks could benefit from when on the go! This is a 7 dollar meal from Harris teeter. It is my typical go to when on the run. 1 blackened chicken breast, typically 6oz of protein, kale salad (they have other options at the cold bar and a meal deal has 1 protein and 2 sides for 4.99) plus the guac because rest day fats. This took me 4-5 minutes to park, go inside and grab and be back on the road. Just a suggestion, and they have other options I.e salmon, turkey, Etc.

The holidays are a beautiful time to spend with family, and most of us have traditions, which involve a lot of food. And that's okay, you should enjoy yourself and not stress over what you eat on Christmas, or New Years. The real factor is what you eat in between the holidays, and getting back to your goals without letting one day of celebration cause serious set-backs, or redevelop bad habits or decision making. Get back to the grind, and you won't have to worry about "starting a diet" when the summer months are quickly approaching.

All it takes is the decision to make a change. Everyone has will power, and that's the biggest "secret to success" that I can give you. It's not a magic pill, it's not a trick in the fitness industry that you're missing, it's just a conscious decision to make a change. What's stopping you?

[10/19/15]   The key to success is not a quick fix, fad diet overnight change. Success is found in sustained and consistent weight loss, maintained over the course of months. THAT is how you will reach your goals, and maintain said goals! What's the point in a miserable, rapid change if you can't sustain it? Sustainability is much more realistic and important in the long term, which is what we all want, right? Just something to keep in mind heading into this new week.

No one can do the work for you, but there's nothing more rewarding than knowing that you've put in the work for something important to you, and no one can take that feeling of empowerment away. Everywhere you look, someone is going to have an answer for you. What you choose to believe will dictate your future. What I can tell you is that I've experienced what you're going through. I've been that kid that got bullied. I've been that kid who's biggest fear during the summer were pool parties with friends. I promise, I can relate to the struggle, I've been through it. 5 minutes and $30. Luckily I have meat in the freezer, but this is just an example of how realistic and reasonable being health conscious can be when shopping! Stay away from the aisles, and shop the perimeter of the grocery store, and you'll be pretty safe if your priority is getting whole foods!

Monday's over, but every day is an opportunity to evolve towards the best version of yourself. Eyes on the target, people. Because if you take your eyes off of the target and watch the prize, you'll miss the target and get nothing. It's not JUST about where you want to end up, it's about how hard you're willing to work to get there.

I've played around with a lot of diets, including an attempt at reintroducing processed food and sugar into my diet a couple of weeks ago to assist in my mass phase caloric intake requirements(cereal/ice cream/deserts). Within 10 days, I felt a dramatic difference in my energy levels, mental state (for the worse), and even my immune system, leading me to get sick. It's true what we preach, that stuff is for the birds. I'll stick to whole foods, a large majority of the time. This is just me speaking from personal experience. One serving of casein protein to maintain the levels of amino acids available to my muscle tissue from my bloodstream for the next few hours, a raw crunch bar to help slow digestion to help keep me full, and, of course, black coffee 😁 Happy Tuesday everyone!
