Today is National Depression Screening Day, a reminder that recognizing changes in your mental health is an important first step toward getting support.

We all experience difficult days, but when feelings of sadness, hopelessness or a loss of interest in everyday activities begin to persist, it may be more than just a bad week.

Depression can look different for everyone, and knowing when to seek additional support isn't always easy. Understanding the signs and checking in with yourself or someone you love can help start the conversation about mental health.

At Haven Behavioral Healthcare, we're here to help individuals and families better understand depression and explore available treatment options.

October is National Depression and Mental Health Screening Month.

As a new season begins, it is important to check in with the people around us and with ourselves. Changes in mood, energy, sleep or interest in everyday activities can sometimes be signs that additional support may be helpful.

Mental health screenings can offer an opportunity to recognize concerns early and better understand when it may be time to talk with a healthcare professional. They can also help open the door to conversations that may otherwise feel difficult to start.

If you or someone you love has been feeling overwhelmed, withdrawn or depressed, reaching out can be an important first step toward finding support.

This month is a reminder that you do not have to wait until things feel unmanageable to ask for help

September 10 is World Su***de Prevention Day.

Today is a reminder of the importance of creating environments for open, honest conversations about mental health and su***de. By checking in with those around us and listening with compassion, we can shift from silence and misunderstanding to empathy and support.

At Haven Behavioral Healthcare, we are honored to be part of this conversation. We encourage you to reach out to someone today, ask how they are doing, and take time to listen. A conversation can be the first step in helping someone feel seen, heard, and supported.

September is National Su***de Prevention Awareness Month.

At Haven Behavioral Hospital, we recognize this month as an opportunity to create space for open, honest conversations about mental health and su***de. These are conversations that can help reduce stigma, build understanding and remind us that support is available.

This month, we invite you to join the conversation. Check in with the people around you, listen without judgement, share resources, and help create an environment where someone can speak openly about what they may be facing.

Mental health challenges do not always look the same, and the signs may not always be obvious. Sometimes, simply asking how someone is doing can open the door to healing.

If you or someone you love may need additional support, you do not have to navigate it alone. Haven Behavioral Hospital provides compassionate behavioral healthcare designed to meet you where you are.

When mental health challenges begin to affect safety, stability, or daily life, knowing the right path forward matters.

Different levels of care are designed to meet different levels of need. For some, that may mean the structure and support of inpatient care. For others, an intensive outpatient program may provide the right support while allowing them to continue living at home.

Both are designed to help individuals receive care, build stability, and take the next step forward with support.

Haven is here to provide steady, compassionate care at every stage of need.
