what are sozo events all about? it’s about connecting with God through fellowship, Gods word, and fitness

each event is 3 hours long and includes:
45 minute bible study
1 hour craft
50 minute fitness class

You do not need any prior knowledge of the bible, all you need is an open mind and an open heart 🤍

We want to bring people together with Jesus at the center and help each other to learn and grow in our faith and how to take care of our bodies !

What’s Included

🤍 Soul: Scripture, Reflection & Prayer (30 Minutes)

Begin the day by centering your heart on Christ through Scripture, prayer, and guided reflection. Together, we’ll discuss what it means to serve like Jesus, set personal intentions for the day, and prepare our hearts to love and encourage others through simple acts of kindness.

This time is designed to help you grow spiritually while reflecting on how God can use you to make an impact in the lives of those around you.

🌸 Service: Encouragement Outreach Experience (Approximately 1 Hour and a half)

Put your faith into action by creating handwritten notes filled with Scripture, encouragement, and uplifting messages. We’ll pair each note with a flower before heading out together into the West Chester Borough and the West Chester University campus to share them with others.

Whether it’s a student having a difficult day, a local business employee, or someone simply needing encouragement, these small acts of kindness can have a lasting impact.

Unlike our other events, this experience isn’t centered on creating something to take home. Instead, it’s about giving your time, your encouragement, and the love of Christ to others. Our hope is that through serving, you’ll experience the joy of being the hands and feet of Jesus while growing in boldness, compassion, and faith.

💪 Strength: Sculpt-Inspired Strength Class (50 Minutes)

Finish the day with a strength-focused workout inspired by sculpt-style training. This full-body class will emphasize endurance, stability, and functional strength through intentional movements designed to leave you feeling empowered and energized.

Modifications and progressions will be offered throughout, making the workout accessible for a variety of fitness levels while still providing opportunities for an added challenge.

What’s Included

✝️ Christ: Scripture, Reflection & Prayer (45 Minutes)

Spend intentional time in God’s Word through a guided Bible study and discussion centered on the life and teachings of Jesus. Together, we’ll reflect on Scripture, share insights, and close with prayer as we seek to grow deeper in our faith and relationship with Christ.

☕ Coffee: Create, Sip & Connect (Approximately 1 Hour 10 Minutes)

Everyone will receive a 16oz glass travel cup complete with a bamboo lid and reusable glass straw to customize and take home. Choose from a variety of cute Christian-themed stickers to create a cup that’s uniquely yours.

After decorating, you’ll learn how to craft your own specialty drink and enjoy one complimentary beverage included with your event ticket. Guests can choose from iced coffee, cold brew, or matcha and customize their drink with a selection of homemade syrups, cold foam, and milk options.

This time is designed for fellowship, meaningful conversation, creativity, and connection with other people in a welcoming, faith-centered environment.

🏃 Cardio: Walk, Run & Refresh (Approximately 50 Minutes)

We’ll head to a local park featuring scenic walking and running trails for a refreshing outdoor cardio session. Whether you prefer walking or running, you’ll be free to move at your own pace while enjoying God’s creation.

Participants can choose to walk or run solo, alongside a friend, or with a group. Afterward, everyone will gather back together for community, conversation, and a final time of connection before heading home.

✝️PRAYER + PAINTING + PILATES✝️
Saturday, August 8th 8am-11am, West Chester, Pa

A morning designed to slow down, get creative, move your body, and spend intentional time with God and community. 🤍

Join us for Prayer + Painting + Pilates, where we’ll begin the morning with intentional prayer, Bible reading, and meaningful conversation as we gather around God’s Word together.

Then, you’ll get the chance to create your own custom tote bag using fabric paint, markers, and a variety of Christian-inspired iron-on patches. Whether you’re artistic or haven’t picked up a paintbrush in years, this is simply a chance to create, connect, and have fun.

In between activities, enjoy a handcrafted iced coffee, cold brew, or matcha complete with your favorite syrup and optional cold foam while you mingle and build community with other women.
We’ll finish the morning with a 50-minute Pilates-inspired workout designed to leave you feeling strong, energized, and refreshed.

No prior Bible knowledge is needed. No Pilates experience is required. No pressure to be perfect.
Just come as you are.

The vision behind these events is to create a Christ-centered fitness community — a space where we can grow stronger physically, spiritually, and relationally while keeping Jesus at the center of it all.
As believers, we were created in God’s image: body, soul, and spirit. Scripture reminds us that our bodies are temples, and we are called to steward them with intention, discipline, and care.
In biblical times, caring for the temple required consistency, purification, maintenance, and dedication. In the same way, we believe honoring God through wellness involves caring for every part of ourselves while remaining rooted in faith and community.
Growth is always stronger when you are surrounded by people who encourage, uplift, and walk alongside you in faith. Our prayer is that these events become that place for you — a community where you feel supported, strengthened, and inspired.
