Watching the history channel and being grateful that I was not a hairstylist back in the 1800s

Oh, and by the way, I met up with Adelina a few weeks after and her fuchsia still looks awesome!

I have been doing Wendy's hair for a lonnnnng time, but she colored her own hair all over. Because her hair pulls a lot of orange undertones, it turned out gold (4th picture). After lightening it once to get most of the gold (3rd picture), it was time for a re-touch and she was ready to add the undertones back in... soooooo much better. Next up, we will perm it again, so stay tuned! :)

I'm sorry for any inconvenience, but Golden Shears will be closed Friday and Saturday this week to celebrate Passover with friends in town. See ya Monday!

Toya wanted an all over color to cover the grey. Look closely at this deep copper face frame I gave her that distinguishes it from an all over "boring" color. :)

Angelica wanted a purple ombre and it turned out gorgeous! If you look close enough, you can see tiny streaks leading down from the top! Wowowowowowo! Stay tuned to see her sisters!

Once again, Brazilian Blowout amAzes me; Janet's hair was so broken and weak, but it feels as smooth as glass now! And it will help it to grow again!

Riley loves my green! She is back for more! :)

These are the ingredients in Nexxus Therappe: It has all 3 of my top bad ones for using it on color- treated hair. THEY LIE!!!!!

Shampoos that say they are for "color-treated" hair LIE!!! Remember citric acid is the main ingredient in "sun-in", so if it's in your shampoo, and your hair is colored, it's a NO-GO!!!!
If you have purchased a shampoo that has these other ingredients, and your hair is colored, throw it in the trash, shave your legs with it, or give it away to your hubby :)

I've just got to show you this. Amanda is pushing her hair to the limit to lift it from dark chocolate brown (with red) to white blonde. This is after my 2nd lift and it was soooooo gummy and it was like this ALL OVER HER HEAD! But, I have so many awesome tools in my tool bag, like Brazilian Blowout, and I know how to fix it. It is a very delicate, time-consuming, and unfortunately expensive process, but I've got you covered IF it is needed! :)

Trish was a little nervous as she has had this same 80's style since I met her about 15 years ago (last picture), but the razor carved out all of these curls and when I added the warm highlights, she started glowing!!!!!!!!!
