Unique Concrete

Early morning sun catches the texture just right. Notice both the depth of texture and grout joints. The depth in texture remains consistent throughout the job with our process and the deep grout joints ensure the grout will last.

Veterans monuments that were restored utilizing handcarved vertical concrete. The painted plaster coatings were flaking off and needed facelift. We removed anything that was not structural, as well as the bases around the monuments. The bases were finished to create the look of a split face bluestone. We created caps on each monument to compliment the bases. The vertical area was then carved to create the look of natural stone. Areas were left out to add new veteran plaques.

Large firepit with a seatwall. This was part of a much larger project that included a patio and grilling area. We used the system in the construction of the and the . The vertical stone was all . The firebrick that line the firepit were cut to add a decorative design element. Both the seatwall and the firepit are internally reinforced with rebar and 2.25" synthetic fibers.

A carved concrete fireplace designed to mimic a drystack fieldstone with a rustic wood beam. Each stone is carved concrete and individually handstained. The wood beam is also carved concrete and is an ideal choice in areas where heat is a concern for combustible products.

Stamped concrete pool deck around concrete pool. Custom stained to recreate the look of bluestone. Coping is stamped concrete as well replicating the look of limestone.

Vertical concrete carving process. Specially designed mix is applied to the wall, then carefully tooled and textured to achieve desired look. The first picture shows the raw mix applied to the wall on the left side, while the right side has already been carved. After concrete has cured out, stains are applied. Still some more work to go on this project but this gives a bit of insight to the process. The possibilities are endless with the looks that can be achieved.
