Hello SBiT friend. Can you believe the month of January is coming to an end. The volunteers of Step Back In Time Shop and Vision 2020 Office are excited about the upcoming classes/events being held in February. Check out our events calendar to see what we have to offer you, a family member or a friend. Please help us get the word out to those who haven't experienced a class in our shop. Would you share this with your friends? Thank you. Did you know Vision 2020 Inc collected recipes and family stories to put together its first cookbook? Simple Pleasures, volume 1 is available in the shop for $20. Step on in and see the books and cd's created by artists who love Red Boiling Springs. This week the shop has Moriah Dawne from Kind Fibers. Moriah shares her skill in knitting. Never knitted but want to learn...this is your class. Do you knit but are having a problem with a project? This class is for you. Do you want to join other knitters? This class is for you. 1st timers...$35 and this gives you supplies. Others...$10. Make SBiT a destination on Saturday as you shop local businesses in RBS. We will have guest vendors Groundwell Farm Baked with tasty baked goods for sale and Kind Fibers with elderberry syrup, teas, salves and wool products. Of course our gift shop has unique and one of a kind treasures which make amazing holiday gifts. We will be open 10-2pm on Saturday and tomorrow from 12-5pm for your Black Friday Shopping.

Hello SBiT friend. With Thanksgiving a few days away we want to let you know we appreciate and are grateful for you. We are very thankful for your support in sharing our social media, visiting our shop and participating in our classes/workshops. It is because of YOU we are able to thrive. This week Step Back In Time Shop and Vision 2020 Office will be closed on Thursday for volunteers to enjoy time with family and friends. Rounding up Loose Cattle – Surprise Adventure!

I absolutely adore our little Kine of Cattle. However, sometimes they are a handful in the spring! Yesterday afternoon was one of those days when the grass was greener on the other side. Profit and June found a loose strand of wire and took off without Asset. He was NOT happy, but he helped me fix the fence. Then we rounded up our escapees and got them in. First Snow Botanical Soap - Cedar and Rose Hip Oil

Now in the shop! Every sale feed our Sheep!

This is our first soap of 2022 and it captures life on the farm in the depth of winter. Made with Rose Hip Oil and Cedar Oil this soap has a clean smell, but you do occasionally catch a whiff of cedar much like walking across the farm during the First Snow. There are no commercial dyes, chemical fragrances, etc in this soap. It's made right here on the farm using our own plants. The Corn Silk and Kaolin Clay add a delicious slip. This is a medium lather soap.

Ingredients: Cedar and Rose Hip infused Rice Bran Oil, Coconut Oil, Water, Lye, Caster Oil, Shea Butter, Himalayan Salt, Kaolin Clay, Corn Silk

One of the hardest parts of and is learning that we do not have control over many things that happen in our daily lives. Be it weather, pest, vermin, illness, a downed tree, or a critter just having a moment, something is bound to undo our best laid plans. We cannot steer the river. However, we can steer ourselves. Aladdin, the sanctuary's only meets me EVERY morning at the kitchen door. He's always so excited for breakfast. Laddie has such a big, sweet, dog like personality. He absolutely brightens up the start to every day.
