So sorry for being MIA, y’all! 🥹🤎 I’ve missed y’all SO much, and I hope y’all have missed me and my treats too!

This past month has been an emotional and exhausting one for our family. We’ve experienced two very close losses on both mine and my husband’s side, so we’ve taken some much-needed time to be with family, grieve, and just take things day by day. 🤍

BUT with that being said… we’re hoping October brings all the positive vibes, fresh starts, and LOTS of BBs Breads treats! 🍪🍞🎃 I’m hoping to be back at the Farmers Market in October, and hopefully y’all will be seeing my face — and my treats — everywhere again! 🤎

Fall is officially here… even if Texas weather hasn’t gotten the memo yet. 😂🍂 Maybe if we all manifest it hard enough, we can get some cooler weather!

🍪 Homemade Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies! 🍪

Okay… I officially understand the brown butter hype now. 😍 It makes SUCH a difference! These might seriously be the best cookies I’ve ever tasted.

And when I say made from scratch, I mean as from scratch as I could possibly get — from browning the butter, to making the brown sugar, to whipping everything together and throwing them in my oven. 🤎🍪 Made with so much love, and they are SOOOO yummy!

Just because I’ve taken this week off—and still have a few more days to go—doesn’t mean I’ve stayed out of the kitchen. 🤎🍞

If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that food really does heal the soul. It brings people together, gives comfort when it’s needed most, and sometimes a homemade meal or sweet treat can say more than words ever could.

I’m so thankful that I have the ability to create something with my own two hands that can bring a little comfort, love, and happiness to the people around me. 🥹🤍

Even during a week off, the kitchen is still one of my happy places. I just wanted to share a few of the things I’ve made this week. Nothing fancy—just homemade, made with love, and straight from the heart. 🤎✨

Taking the next few days off to spend some much-needed time with my family. 🤎 We’re going through a lot right now, so please keep my family in y’all’s thoughts and prayers. 🙏🏼
