Yesterday we welcomed Dan, Lois and Kurt from the Northern Berkshire Interfaith Action Initiative Al Nelson Friendship Center to the co-op to officially receive our latest Round Up For Change donation. From the spare change our shoppers gave throughout the month of August, we were able to contribute $3,737.46 to support the vital work of this local food pantry in North Adams. Thanks to the continuing support of those who , we have now donated more than $93,000 to non-profit organizations actively working here in our community. Thank you!

We're excited to report that -- after a months-long delay waiting for all the appropriate parts to arrive -- we're making a number of important updates to equipment in our bakery and kitchen. The bad news is we expect this process to take nearly two weeks to complete, which means our prepared food output will be limited through the 23rd. Your patience and understanding is much appreciated during this transition and we look forward to being back to full and improved capacity soon.

Jared and Devin in our meat department are excited to welcome new products from Farmers and Cooks Craft Meats , including this simple roast turkey. They're also crafted by hand in small batches just like you would cook at home. Come save on this and their simple ham, too, now through Tuesday when you !

About Wild Oats Market

Wild Oats has been Williamstown's cooperatively owned source of local, organic and sustainable food choices for the past four decades.

Since moving to its current location in 2005, its offerings have expanded to include a variety of wellness and body care products, wine and craft beer, prepared foods, an in-house bakery and the popular daily specials on its Hot Bar.

Although all shoppers are welcome at Wild Oats, its 1500+ member-owners play an integral role in the governance of their co-op, shaping the future of the organization with their votes, equity investments and shopping habits.

Guided by its Ends Policy, Wild Oats actively supports its community through socially responsible programs such as composting, promoting local farms and businesses, donating to local schools and service organizations, and educating its customers about healthful options and sustainable practices.
