Shipping Update 💛
I always want to be as transparent as possible with you all, so I wanted to give a quick shipping update.
Right now, I am running behind on orders. Life has thrown a few extra challenges my way recently, and as many of you know, Luna & Grace is truly a one-woman business. Every single step—from rendering tallow and making products to labeling, packing, and shipping is done by me.
This isn’t my normal turnaround time, and I’m working hard to get every current order shipped out over the next few days. Once I’m caught up, my goal is to stay ahead and keep everything running smoothly moving forward.
I sincerely apologize for the delay. I’m always looking for ways to improve my customer service and make your experience the best it can be. Adjusting to the summer schedule with my kids has been a little more challenging than expected, but I appreciate your patience and understanding more than you know.

Being a night shifter means no sleep around here 😂
While I’m off from my Nursing job tonight, I’m still not taking a break because small business life never stops!
Doing final renders on tallow so i can restock and get these orders out. I’m definitely a little behind on things, but working to catch up in the next few days 🤍

Cleaning up our tallow after the first render. My first render is always a wet render, not everyone prefers to start with a wet render, but i do. After it cools down and is nice and solid, i scrape off whatever impurities are left on the tallow (as you can see, there’s a lot in the water too) once we get all of that scraped off, we break it apart so that we can do our first dry render, to help draw all the moisture from the tallow. The tallow is currently pretty wet right now, which is why you can see my finger leave and indent. Once it’s fully rendered and good to go, it will be solid.

When your Friday nights are all about rendering beef fat, to make tallow 🤍
One solidified first render, the other still warm after a first render.
Designing labels are actually enough to make me crazy, because I want them to look nice but not like everyone else’s, and somehow they keep looking like everyone else’s 😂😂
