In the second slide, notice how some of the hairs are extremely close to the skin, but she has been on a consistent wax schedule and uses her aftercare in her daily routine, making it much easier to get even the most STUBBORN of hairs up! No hair is too small over here 😜

Now you know I preach exfoliation all day! Exfoliating the skin before, after and in between your waxes is so important. Failing to properly clean and exfoliate the areas before your appointment, you risk having the wax stick to your skin and an uncomfortable struggle to remove the hair properly, also increasing the chances of getting ingrowns.

Although your skin naturally sloughs away old, dead skin cells to generate new ones, your body needs a little help with speeding up the rejuvenation process. Exfoliation provides that gentle push. You exfoliate to remove the top layer of dead skin.

Without proper exfoliation, the older skin cells, as well as the debris that comes with them, can trap in bacteria by blocking the pores. This leads to ingrown hairs, rashes, irritation, and sometimes even odor or infection.

Because you're dealing with such a delicate and sensitive area, only exfoliate the bikini line, top, and sides of the waxed area.

I recommend using our Exfoliating Wax Mitts, paired with our Fur Oil, used to soften hair and clear pores for fewer ingrowns and healthier skin, and our Ingrown Concentrate, used to combat ingrowns, bumps, redness and irritated skin.

The suite will be closed September 13th thru October 13th. Those who haven’t been scheduled and are due for a wax, can come in tomorrow or Sunday, that way you can get waxed the week that I leave and not have to wait any additional time. Those who will be waxed in the weeks leading up to me leaving, are free to push their appointment closer to that time, that way you only wait your normal 4 weeks to get waxed.
