So excited to announce that My Sister’s Cottage is expanding and moving just next door! Ellie’s Essence is a proud seller at this Mayfair location in Wilmington, NC.

We are welcoming 2021 with HUGE NEWS!!! 🤩 I can’t even believe I am writing this. This is going to be our new Mayfaire store front that we get the keys to on January 25... and we have a HUGE GRAND OPENING planned for January 29th!! We are so thankful for all of our loyal sisters that have shopped with us the last few months at our new store in Mayfaire and we are so excited to be doubling our space right next-door to our current space in Mayfaire. We will be taking over the old New York and Co space. Yes, we are still currently open through January 25 and we will close for a quick 4 days so that we can turn over the new space! Thank you so much for all your loyalty to us, we appreciate all of those who shop with us and those that plan to shop with us. 10% of all purchases give back to help us support women who are rescued out of trafficking. Ellie’s is Apple Twist! What’s yours??

This is Ellie. She was born with something called metopic craniosynostosis. This is when bones in the skull prematurely fuse. Finding this out when she was only about 4 hours old was the last thing we could have expected. When Ellie was only 8 months young, she had to get surgery to correct it. It absolutely amazed me at not only how strong and resilient she was, but at how she still kept her “essence”, her “Ellie-ness”. She kept smiling, even when her eyes were swollen shut; and dealt with pain that not even a mother’s love could mend. Since the day she entered this world, Ellie has been able to capture the attention of everyone around her. I started Ellie’s Essence Candle Co. with the intention of giving back in some way to craniosynostosis. Cranio Care Bears is an organization that sends out care packages to families that are about to undergo very invasive, corrective surgery or surgeries. A portion of the proceeds will always be donated to help this great cause. So just know, that with every purchase with Ellie’s Essence, you are helping a family get through one of the worst days of their lives.
