Low ferritin does NOT automatically mean cancer 🚫

Low ferritin = low iron stores… and that is extremely common, especially in women. While it can be a clue to something more serious in certain populations, it is not cancer unless proven otherwise.
Most of the time, the cause is much more straightforward:
✨ heavy periods
✨ pregnancy/postpartum
✨ low dietary iron
✨ gut absorption issues
✨ frequent blood donation
Jumping straight to “this must be cancer” creates unnecessary fear and delays actually treating the root cause.
Now here’s the part that gets missed 👇
You don’t have to be anemic to feel terrible.
Low ferritin (even with a “normal” hemoglobin) can cause real symptoms:
⚡ chronic fatigue or “wired but tired”
🧠 brain fog / poor focus
