It is with deep sorrow that I announce the passing of my client, friend, and Miss lumbee sister, Brenda Hunt Storms ❤️

The legacy you left on this earth will be felt throughout generations. I will never be able to articulate the impact you had on me and the intimate moments we shared. It was a powerful feeling sitting amongst my other Miss Lumbee sisters as we mourned the loss of a Queen who gained a new crown that will never tarnish. Until we meet again, dwell in the house of the lord forever.

I charged my first client for makeup services in 2015. YES. TWO THOUSAND FIFTEEN. It’s still hard to wrap my head around that because it feels like yesterday. And just like that 10 years have gone by…
