✔️ What medical training do you have?
✔️ How often do you perform this procedure?
✔️ How would you manage a complication if one occurred?
Your safety matters.
Unfortunately, not everyone in this industry has the education, credentials, training, or clinical background necessary to safely perform procedures and manage complications when they arise.

I’m Julie Oakes, ACNP-BC, MSN, a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with 17 years in healthcare, nearly 8 years of aesthetic injecting experience, and 9 years as a clinical educator. My medical background includes oncology, internal medicine, acute care medicine, dermatology, nursing education, and aesthetic medicine.
My journey began in 2009 as a CNA/GNA caring for TBI and stroke patients, followed by earning my ADN, BSN, and MSN before pursuing advanced practice nursing. Since entering aesthetics in 2017, I’ve remained committed to continuing education, patient safety, and providing natural, evidence-based results.
