After this Friday, I will no longer be accepting appointments in North Carolina. I deeply appreciate the trust and support most of you have shown me over the years.

One of THE worst feelings 😅 I’m sorry y’all! I be so busy. I genuinely be LOCKED IN when doing hair. That’s why I get y’all out the chair so fast lol. But really because I can barely hear without a vacuum running. 😂

We’re not ignoring you. I promise.

When you come please don’t twist the k**b and go get back in the car. Simply knock on the door. Sometimes it is unlocked if we have a full house. So always attempt to come on in.

And during slower times we may lock the door for safety. The door is not locked because you arrived a few minutes early. The door is not locked because we have an attitude and “these new stylists have too many rules.” 😂

Also avoid just sitting in the car. I know some stylists ask you to but I do not because once I start working I’m not on my phone so I will probably miss the “I’m here” text. Just come in or knock on the door and someone will be up shortly.

To close this out, I don’t mind early arrivals because it beats being late and sometimes clients are catching a ride and want to make sure they’re on time.

But don’t be early thinking you supposed to be in the chair getting started on. If I can I will but sometimes I have clients before and after or I might have a couple tasks I’m trying to knock out before starting my day/next client.

So if I sit you in waiting area when you’re early it’s not because I’m mad that you’re early. I probably have something to do or close to finishing up my last one.

I mostly made this post to highlight how easy it is to misinterpret someone’s actions because of whatever made up notions you have. We have to stop overthinking and making something out nothing.

Everything doesn’t have to have some deep underlying meaning. Stylists give your clients some grace. Clients give your stylists some grace. We in this together.
