Trims are not optional… they’re maintenance.

I know everybody wants length BUT holding onto dead ends is actually doing the opposite. Split ends don’t just sit there. They split up the hair shaft, causing more breakage, thinning and uneven growth. So instead of gaining length, you’re losing it.

The goal is healthy hair, not just long hair.

On average, you should be getting a trim every 8–12 weeks depending on your hair type, how you style it and how well you maintain it in between. If you wear a lot of heat or protective styles, staying on schedule is even more important.
