It’s National Estheticians Day, and I couldn’t be more excited to celebrate!

If you told little me—the girl who loved all things beauty—that one day she’d go from lash artist to esthetician to master esthetician, educator, and paramedical tattoo artist, she wouldn’t believe it.

What started as a simple love for helping people feel confident in their skin has become my life’s passion. It’s not just about treatments anymore—it’s about community, confidence, and care.

As a 20-year military veteran, service has always been in my heart, and now I get to keep serving in a different way—through skin, education, and connection.

I’m so grateful for every client, every lesson, and every part of this journey. Here’s to more growth, glowing skin, and good energy at Kin Skin and Wellness this year!

It's National Esthetician Day!!! I love it when people ask, "Why did you become an esthetician?" Although the story can be long and drawn out, the final answer is YOU!

While I've experienced my own road of unhappiness with my skin at times, the bottom line was I wanted to give to others what I needed for myself. A safe place to express my skin concerns, someone who understood my struggles and would be honest about how they could help, and frankly, someone who wasn't trying to solve a simple issue with tons of medication.

I am an esthetician today because I love skin, I love beauty, I love people, and I love connecting with my KIN!

Late night skin vibes with my day one!!! As we near my sons graduation, giving him facials means so much more. Not only is it a way for me to show him love, but it also gives him a moment to relax.

Ya'll know I ride him hard, but he is a great son. The more I talk more deeply with him and my other teen clients, their senior year is hard. They are all learning quickly how to perform as an adult, and many adults can attest that it is not an easy transition.

Being able to teach him the basics of caring for himself, feeling good about who he is, being proud of myself, and being proud of all that he is brings me joy.

It's easier said than done.....but be patient with your teen, and I'd be patient with your parents. We just want the world for you all!!
