Hi, I’m Maddie! I’m the face behind MadBeauty, and I’m so happy you’re here. 🤍

I grew up in York, Maine and opened MadBeauty a little over a year and a half ago after turning a lifelong passion into the career I always dreamed of. I’m a licensed esthetician, makeup artist, and spray tan artist, and I truly feel so lucky to call this my job.

I fell in love with makeup at a very young age and always knew I wanted to work in the beauty industry. But my love for skincare came from a more personal place. I struggled with pretty severe acne in high school, which completely changed the way I viewed my skin and beauty. I always say, you can’t have a good makeup day without a good skincare day — and that belief is at the heart of everything I do.

After earning my business degree, I decided to follow my passion and went to esthetics school. That leap eventually led me to creating MadBeauty, and I couldn’t be more grateful for how far it has come.

One of my favorite things I offer is makeup lessons and consultations. I don’t just want you to look beautiful when you leave my studio — I want you to feel beautiful, confident, and completely yourself.

I genuinely love doing hair. The artistry, the transformation, and most of all, making people feel beautiful. Over the years, that passion has grown into a real focus on the longevity of hair health — teaching my clients to understand their hair and how great products, clean water and the right care can completely change the way it looks, feels and ages. I trust my eye, I know my craft, and I’m very particular about what earns a place inside River Way. Authenticity, integrity and exceptional work will always be the standard. I’m incredibly grateful for the clients who have trusted me and followed me into this chapter, and equally proud of the talented team we’re growing here. River Way is polished, but it’s also real life — my boys popping in, family stopping by, familiar faces coming through the door, and of course Buoy — our unofficial head of guest relations. Whether you’ve been with us for years or haven’t walked through our doors yet, we’d love for you to stop by, meet us and experience River Way for yourself.
