Wilbur is wet, but it is warm and cozy in my massage cabin. I got to work on three beautiful souls today, and then, right on cue, the clouds broke and I went up into the hills and watched the full moon rise.

Grateful for a break in the weather at Wilbur Hot Springs, which gave me the chance to get out into the woods. The weekend was slow, exactly what I needed—long hikes, wrote a song, and plenty of soaking until I was wrinkled like a prune.
On a cold evening, we gathered in the dining room for an intimate concert by the talented duo Honey of the Heart. Chef Liam made a delicious stew that we enjoyed during the performance—it was the perfect pairing for a chilly night.

I had an amazing time celebrating my son’s birthday in Monterey this weekend and wanted to bring back something special for my clients! My son turns 15 today. He is the kindest, smartest, toughest, most hard-working badass I’ve ever met. Having such an incredible heir is the greatest blessing a man could imagine. I love you kiddo, and I’m so proud.
