I hate that I even have to make a post like this, but unfortunately, we’ve been dealing with far too many issues with unpaid purchases at our Lakeland farm stand.

We understand that accidents and honest mistakes happen, and we are always willing to work with someone who realizes they made a mistake. But we have had enough repeated incidents that it’s becoming a real concern.

I put an incredible amount of time, work, and care into this business. Every item at the stand represents hours of preparation, baking, packaging, and everything that happens behind the scenes. A small business like mine simply cannot continue operating while taking repeated losses from unpaid purchases.

Moving forward, we will be following up on unpaid purchases and, when necessary, taking further steps to address them. The stand is self-serve, but that does not mean it is unmonitored. We do not accept IOUs, and leaving a note saying you’ll come back to pay does not count as payment. All purchases must be paid for in full at the time of purchase.

I truly want to keep the Lakeland stand operating on an honor system, but that requires everyone to do their part. Things like this can ruin a good thing for everyone, and I really don’t want it to come to that.

Please help us keep the stand open and operating the way it was intended. 🤍

Tonight, my heart is just so full. 🤍

Two years ago, I prayed for this dream. I prayed for the opportunity to build something of my own, to create something with my hands, and to provide for my family while doing something I truly love. And somehow, here I am, standing in the middle of what once felt like such a faraway dream.

Today alone, I baked over 40 loaves of bread, more than 30 bagels, over 30 cinnamon rolls, and a whole mountain of other baked goods. 🥹 Looking at it all, I can’t help but think about how far this little business has come.

None of this would be possible without God, who has opened doors and answered prayers in ways I never could have imagined, and without every single one of YOU. Every order, every like, every share, every kind message, and every person who has continued to show up and support my family has helped make this possible.

What started as a small dream has grown into something bigger than I ever imagined, and I am so incredibly thankful. Thank you for believing in Flour & Glow. Thank you for trusting me to bake for your families. Thank you for allowing me to live this answered prayer every single day.
