Osteoporosis is major problem in elderly population. Osteoporotic fracture can develop even after a minor fall and develop mechanical low back pain which affects daily living. This 62 year old patient had such fracture affecting his daily routine since 2 months. Painkillers and regular anti osteoporotic medicines were on and still fracture worsened. Vertebroplasty under local anesthesia is a great procedure which can heal fracture and alleviates pain immediately. This patient walked out of procedure room 10 min after vertebroplasty.
