How is DWARE connected to Ghana?

The concept of DWARE began after I visited Ghana in 2021.

DWARE, pronounced (Jua-re) is the word for “bath” in the Asante Twi language of Ghana.
🇬🇭
Our sponges are imported from Ghana.
🇬🇭
Hidden in the DWARE logo is a black star that symbolizes our diasporic connection to Ghana.
🇬🇭
The black star of the Ghanaian flag represents the emancipation of Africa and unity against colonialism.
🇬🇭
The gold leaves in the DWARE logo represent the country’s abundance of gold and natural resources.

DWARE has added two new products to our line that complement our exfoliating bath sponges.

Introducing our SHEA After Shower Body Oil and
CLEAR menthol shower steamers.

SHEA After Shower Body Oil is a moisturizing blend of shea and almond oils that are rich in vitamins, antioxidants, and omega fatty acids.

CLEAR menthol shower steamers are a blend of peppermint, and eucalyptus for allergy, cold, and sinus relief.

Both products will be available in the DWARE Etsy shop on Black Friday (11/25/22)

I enjoy using my exfoliating sponge with the black soap and moisturize with the lavender scented shea oil for soft skin.

Investing in skin is not just about what you put on your face. It’s important to take stock of your body care routine and make adjustments to the components that aren’t working for you.

✅Is your soap drying out your skin or leaving a film behind?
✅Is your washcloth getting your skin clean? Washcloths should be changed weekly.
✅Are you exfoliating enough?
✅When was the last time you changed that loofah? Loofahs tend to hold bacteria and should be changed every few months.
✅Should you swap out your moisturizer when the weather changes?
✅Is your moisturizer penetrating deep into your skin?

These are just a few questions you should ask yourself when investing in your body care routine.
