From my different daily hairstyle in first grade thanks to my mom, to me putting 50+ butterfly clips and random braids everywhere in my hair bc I felt like it in 5th grade, to my rainbow coming off of my undercut in my 20s… my hair has consistently been a form of self expression. A feature that makes me feel like me. Now I get to enjoy this gorgeous mermaid blue and I loooooove it🧜🏼‍♀️💙🦋

I’ve found myself saying that about every phase of my life.

Carolina was my dream school and I used to walk around the campus in complete awe I was a student there, it felt like a childhood dream come true to be a Tarheel.

Michigan I came into my own as an individual, allowing myself to live fully out, loved the snowy winters, and was getting my masters at the number 1 school of social work.

Texas was a welcomed detour where I lived on a camp in a lake- playing and teaching youth outside all day. The thunderstorms were beautiful, the sunsets incredible, and it may be one of the only times I allowed myself to just with minimal expectation, in a freeing way.

Seattle was the first place I moved bc I just wanted to. No external reason other than I was ENAMORED with the geographical beauty of the . Biggest city to date I’ve lived in the heart of, and mountains and evergreen trees made me smile even on the gloomy days.

And now. Now I’m here in San Diego. Where I can access the ocean on any day. Where is the best, and it’s 70 degrees in October. Where it feels like I’m on the set of a movie bc if the palm trees, sun, surfers, and water.

I can’t believe I live here.” 🌅🥰I mean it every time I think it, I really do. And despite all the anxiety that ebbs and flows within me on a daily basis, I love I can still tap into my joy of the geography around me. Gorgeous.

My focus was trash today but the lighting was on point in my office (kitchen table) AND it happened to be the one day of the week I washed my hair....
Naturally just felt like the time to debut this Salt and Pepper gorgeous kite diamond that designed and created🖤😭
Did you know diamonds come in every color? I didn't!!! This ring is 100% recycled gold, I felt included in every step of this creation, and I am on cloud 9 with how it turned out.
Something I adore about my relationship is how we do what's best for us at the time we are present in. Jer and I got engaged 1.5 yrs ago and got matching engagement rings then, found on a whim while skiing in Whistler (and proposing to one another the next day... We did know we were doing THAT part😉). It felt so right! And now, so does this sparkle✨, especially with the band, -not pictured- taking it to the next level. I cannot WAIT to sport them together!!!🥂
