Kasol n kheerganga is delightful. This scenic village on the banks of the gushing Parvati River in Himachal Pradesh has an unhurried charm and an infectious vibe of its own. The backdrop of this hamlet is the Parvati valley and is close to some of Himachal Pradesh’s best-known places including Kullu and Manali, making it one of the most interesting places to visit. The pic taken when we completed just 2 km of trek of kheerganga.

Resting on a valley that exists on the junction of River Parvati and River Beas, Kasol is right out a picture book. Blue skies, cold yet cozy winds, pristine mountain streams and rivulets with acres of coniferous trees lining the roads and mountains. A small population, untouched natural beauty and breathtaking views of the snow-covered Himalayas add to the aura of Kasol- a fast emerging backpacking, trekking and vacation spot.
