As a former chef, she has a deep desire to nourish both body and soul, inside and out. Adapting her skills from the kitchen to the treatment room, she finds joy crafting custom-mixed skin-cocktails to heal and boost the skin using ’s whole-plant compounds. Mary Ellen’s experience working with her hands now transforms her guest’s skin using manual manipulation and touch therapy to give a revitalized, youthful glow and the rest we all deserve.

WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU’RE BREAKING OUT 👹

this is my skin today, so I wanted to share my practical + tangible tips on things to do when you are having some angry flare ups. 🥹

1. Don’t panic - this is a season and a phase and it will pass!

2. Assess where you’re at in your cycle:
Maybe try seed cycling or eating for your cycle! (for me I’m about to start my period so I know where this is coming from)

3. Assess your skincare products:
Did you recently start trying something new in the last few weeks? Do you need to order new makeup bc yours might be expired? (I was trying a new moisturizer this month and it might not be for me so def switching back to tried and true Daily Face Cream)

4. Assess where your life has been at in the last few weeks:
Are you currently very stressed? Have you been taking your regular supplements? Maybe it’s time to up your probiotic, zinc, magnesium and omegas! Have you been over indulging in coffee, sugar, etc (hello holidays!)?

5. Change your pillow case, up water intake (maybe need to add minerals into your filtered water?!), sleep longer + get a good amount of veggies, fats and proteins in your diet!

6. Ice roll or try “mugging” aka using your warm (not hot!) cup of tea to heat and soothe the cysts/pustules. Heat heals, cold brings down inflammation/reactions!

7. Ask your esti for advice! 💕
