Skin and apples have a common enzyme which is tyrosinase. Tyrosinase is controlling melanin production in human skin and makes apples browning after its cells are exposed to oxygen, which happens after being cut. To demonstrate the power of Vitamin C to inhibit the activity of tyrosinase because of its antioxidant capacity, I have applied the Regimen Lab Vitamin x, Vitamin C, which is also packed with 10 other antioxidants, on 2 different apples.
The first apple was already brown and BECAME WHITE AGAIN after applying the Vitamin C to demonstrate that Vitamin C can be used to treat hyperpigmentation. đź
On the second apple, I have applied Vitamin C only on one (1) side of the apple to demonstrate that Vitamin C can be used to prevent hyperpigmentation as it indirectly inhibits the activity of tyrosinase.
Donât forget that Vitamin C also boosts your SPF; boosts your collagen production and gives you a nice glow!đ However, it can be irritating. I really like the one from regimen lab as I donât find it irritating. However, I donât want to give you may full review as I want to do another post to compare some Vitamin C serums I have tried lately. Still, it is one of my favourites as it is the least irritative I have tried.
I bought this Vitamin C with my very own money. I am not sponsored. Vitamin c is not the only way to fight against hyperpigmentation. I will do another post to tell you which hyperpigmentation treatment might be for you. I have a melasma on my forehead, have warts scars from cryotherapy from my childhood and some acne scars. I am a good candidate to give you my opinion guys!

Polyglutamic acid is a really trendy ingredient. Claims about it are really impressive. Polyglutamic acid is supposed to hold 4x more moisture than hyaluronic acid. It has it 3% high molecular weight amino polymer. It is supposed to increased efficiency of your other serums if you apply it before them. But is it worth the hype? Thatâs what I wanted to discover.
As have really sensitive skin I cannot use hyaluronic acid normally. I was expecting a serum similar to a hyaluronic acid serum. Nothing extraordinary. I have read some reviews before trying it saying that it was disappointing. But as I have the most sensitive I know, I said to myself: âIf it is as good as a hyaluronic acid serum I am going to be very happy as I cannot used them.â My skin is just too sensitive for hyaluronic acid. As the molecular weight is heigher it is supposed to be less irritating. Moreover, scientific research have demonstrated that polyglutamic acid enhance the effect of other serums. So letâs give it a try.
According to me, the Inkey List Polyglutamic acid is very disappointing. It is not even near as effective as an hyaluronic acid serum. However, it is WAY less irritating. I could not use it every day, but every other day. It does not seem to increase the efficiency of my ther serums. And the glow was almost not perceptive. I did not make me break out. I give this serum a 2/10. I will definitely not rebuy it.
What do you think about it?
