While my Mom took off to cheer on the frogs to a victory, my favorite not-so-little dude and I got some quality nephew/auntie time. We were lazy and productive each day! My kind of dude.🤘🏽 i also played pickle ball for the first time. I LOVED IT! But honest question.. when someone has a great shot… do you say nice pickle?!?! Like?! What’s appropriate to say when someone makes a solid move in PICKLE ball. I need to know. Like asap. 🤣🫠💀🫣

POV: some of us that seem Holly Jolly all season struggle every single year. Last year was the first year I didn’t let the holidays eat me alive in 11 years. December is a tough month for my family. Not only do stylists get their asses handed to them on a holiday platter, but it’s my angel brothers birthday month. 12/29 is still one of my favorite day to celebrate a life lived. Christmas season is rough for a lot of folks. Last year I did 25 days of “Fitmas” & Christmas outfits. Every day, I was decked out and worked out. It was a bigger commitment than I initially realized-but I got it done. I felt amazing by Christmas Day.🔥

If the holidays are rough for you, I challenge you to shift your perspective. Dive into why you loathe something meant to spread light, love and happiness so passionately.

The holidays come every year. Let’s strive to keep the scrooges and grinches inside of us at bay. It’s a perfect time of year to remember that if you have nothing nice to say, don’t say it at all.

That person annoying you with all their cheer could be crumbling inside until the moment they make it to their safe space.
