The continued love, loyalty & support you guys have shown me this past 6 months is incredible!
So many of you are technically strangers, having never actually met me in the real world. And yet you’ve stuck around, you’ve encouraged me, you’ve gone on this journey with me. I can’t tell you how much it means. I especially love the mentions & DM’s.
Lua Wilde will be open for the next week. If you’re looking for a treat for yourself, a restock, or a gift for the upcoming holiday season, I’d be honored to fill your order.
Mostly though, I just want to say thank you! You are appreciated & valued.
Be well my darlings!

Hello darlings! My family has some BIG transitions in the works right now.
Being a brand that focuses and emphasizes wellness, prioritizing my own wellness is equally important to me as prioritizing yours.
To me, wellness is not only about what you put into your body, it’s also knowing when to pay attention to seasons in your life and pivot and pause as needed.
For this reason, Lua Wilde is taking a short pause. We are currently out of the country spending some much needed time with family. As we will be spending some time abroad, I will be unable to consistently fulfill orders.
I hope you will stick around and bear with me during this time. It has been an absolute blessing & pleasure creating products for you, and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon!
I’ll update Lua Wilde’s IG but if you’re interested in a more personal look at our current journey as a family, I’ll be posting on my personal page (as soon as my quarantine is up).
Thank you for the constant support & love you show me. It means more than you know!
Be well my dears!

An artist whose work I love reminded me today how special the Goddess Durga is.
Durga’s beautiful & powerful story was the inspiration for my first bath ritual (named after her).
If you are unfamiliar with her story, I encourage you to read it. I am confident it will inspire you as well. 💕

“I am my own muse. I am the subject I know best. The subject I want to know better.”
-Frida Kahlo
Such a big component to optimal wellness is self connection and self awareness.
How can we be our highest selves if we are not self aware? We have to learn how to sit with ourselves, in darkness & light, so that we may come to better understand our complexities.
When we learn our strengths, weaknesses, fears, hopes, traumas, etc, we connect to our full selves and tap into a deeper understanding of ourselves and others.

What a splendid way to wake up on a very special day!
10 years ago today Sid & I (along with 2 dear friends) drove to Asheville and got married.
I remember my best friend and I changing into our dresses in the car at the court house (it was freezing cold outside).
It was so simple, intimate and humble. We planned to do something more formal later, so not even our families were there. My “weddding dress” was a strapless ivory sundress with a yellow cardigan over it. Sid wore a matching yellow sweater.
Sid hadn’t even bought me a ring, so I had to borrow my mom’s for the ceremony. I was so broke the only band I could afford for Sid was a $30 sterling silver band from Walmart (which even after upgrading later to a Cartier band, he still refuses to get rid of).
Our “reception dinner” was a dinner at PF Chang’s. The staff signed a dinner plate for us. We stayed at my brother’s Lake Lure cabin.
As I look back on that day, so many years ago, I am so humbled and immensely grateful. We had a modest beginning in so many ways, but we never lacked love. And that love, though challenging at times, has grown into something more than I could have ever imagined.
So here’s to 10 years of marriage with my forever adventure & best friend. And here’s to many, many more years together. I can’t wait to see where life takes us! 💕

HIGH VIBRATION TEA✨
Raise your vibrations by following this guide I love by below. Lua Wilde’s Lavender Moon blend is the perfect tea blend for this! You will finish feeling calm & loved.
✨Sit with your cup and imagine pouring love into the beverage. You can do this in whatever way works best for you. I usually imagine writing the word love on the beverage and/or its cup. You can send loving thoughts or words or images.
Whatever makes you feel love think about that. It could be your cat, your children, the beach, or anything that makes your heart happy. Think about those love-inducing topics and intend for those feeling to enter your beverage. One of the reasons I like to use tea is because the 5-6 minutes I spend doing this gives the beverage time to cool down before I drink it.
✨Savor your beverage and soak up all the good vibrations that you put into it.
✨Repeat daily or even more often.

Full moon essentials for me include:
✨Lua Wilde Full Moon grounding tea blend
✨White candles
✨Sage, rosemary & lavender stick for smoke clearing
✨Smokey quartz, selenite, moonstones & desert rose selenite
Are you a moon lover? If so, what are your go to’s for the full moon?
26/02/2021
Hey there fellow moon children! February’s full moon, the Snow Moon, is tomorrow. This is a great time to reflect on things that you need to change or let go of. The full moon is all about release.
I love doing full moon rituals. I generally start by smoke clearing the house in the morning. I typically use sage, lavender & rosemary bundles (like the one pictured here) that I make from herbs I grow in our garden.
I light candles, play some music, work with a few crystals, take a bath & journal. I finish by writing down everything that I want to release & then I burn the list. I follow that with some affirmations.
Before I hop into bed, I set out my crystals, a jar of water & my tea blends to charge in the moonlight. It’s one of my favorite times of the month. 🌝✨

Unfortunately there is often a misconception that wellness looks like a yoga practicing, kombucha drinking white girl (nothing wrong with being that girl, but it’s an extremely inaccurate & exclusive portrayal of wellness).
In reality, many popular wellness practices are derived from indigenous people and people of color.
There is a vast array of incredible women of color contributing to the wellness space, so I thought I’d highlight a few of my favorites.
For me, wellness encompasses anything nourishing and healthy for mind, body & soul, so this list is varied.
These women continue to be a source of inspiration for me and I’m sure you’ll feel the same.
