Fun fact:
I didn't really want to cut my hair, I did it because I had damaged it with relaxers and dye. I dyed my hair this brown blonde color (I can't find the pictures anywhere) and it was dry & breaking so much.
I decided to cut it and go natural in 2016. To be honest, that was very bold of me lol!! I then started being obsessed with natural hair and growth. So in 2019 I started reading up on natural ways to have healthy hair but also grow it. Americans make it easy 😅 Nonetheless, I was obsessed and hell bent on finding products that would give me great hair.
After all the research and experimenting, I found formulas and recipes that worked. Then in 2020, Ohlay Hair was born and it's been an interesting journey. We've grown so much as a business (so has my hair) and I'm definitely looking forward to see how far my hair and business can go.
Don't forget- consistency and patience really go a long way. I'm not where I want to be but I'm definitely not where I used to be 7 years ago and that alone makes me happy.
