hello everyone 👋🏼 long time no see!
I had the lovely honour of doing my little sister’s henna for her nikkah with this beautiful design inspired by and a classic mandala design on her palms.
Thank you for sticking around while I was away, and be sure to stay tuned as I have many exciting things to come! 💕

throwback to my little sister’s Eid henna 🌷 I love this one because it shows how adding finger designs can elevate a simple design like the vine I did a few posts back 🌷

🖤
Taking a moment this Eid to show support for those facing oppression, are under occupation, and are being denied their basic human rights. The keffiyeh has long been a symbol of Palestinian resistance, and I hope that even in hard times like these we still find moments to educate ourselves and speak up for those who cannot.

Stay tuned to my page for a special announcement!! This design was inspired by and her incredible cookies. I’m really enjoying incorporating unique and non-traditional shapes into my henna designs, such as this hexagon mandala.

⭐️finding inspiration in the era of COVID-19⭐️
Hi everyone! I hope you all are staying safe and well. If I’m being truthful, it seems that in these pasts few months as we work through the pandemic, my creative drive has completely come to a halt. Whatever finite brain power/mental stamina we are all running on nowadays got allocated to my studies or work only, leaving nothing left for my henna practice. However, last night I found myself searching for something aside from a netflix show or a youtube video that would bring me some sense of relief or calmness. And that’s when I found myself defrosting an old henna cone and coming up with this design. It’s not my best work by any means, but it is so much more important to me than any other design I’ve done. As we near almost a year of the pandemic, it can be very easy for us to lose a bit of ourselves and our identity, especially when the world seems so unfamiliar. To pick up a henna cone after so long reminded me of how much henna means to me and made things feel normal, even if just for a bit. Please stay safe by social distancing and wearing a mask! Take care ♥️
