A brief word of admonition was delivered during the electoral process yesterday by our highly esteemed Legal Adviser OKITIPUPA chapter, Prophet (Barr.) Abel S.

The legal adviser offered a crucial piece of counsel: elections should not be viewed as a “do or die” affair. He emphasized one immutable truth, when you do good, no one may blow your trumpet, but the moment you do wrong, the news spreads like wildfire.

He further advised that incoming executive members, about to take the mantle of leadership, must be thoroughly conversant with the potential failures of their office. Ignorance in this regard, he warned, would only lead to ineffectiveness.

The adviser also stressed the need for tolerance, urging the new executives to build upon a spirit of mutual understanding and patience in all their dealings.

He emphatically noted that despite having served as a legal adviser for several other NGOs in the local Government area, SAMPA remains the most vibrant association he has ever worked with...............
