Father’s Day story time… please read 🩷 I come from a tight knit family. When we had come to the realization that my dad and brother would be unable to come to Tennessee when I was supposed to compete at Miss Teen Volunteer America, we were devastated. Mid-week everything had changed. What my dad had stayed in NH for was no longer going to happen. My dad watched Wednesday night’s preliminary competition at home then immediately after he hopped in the car and started his drive to TN. I was completely unaware. He live streamed the second night while he was driving. That night I won preliminary Fitness and Wellness, and although I was elated, I was devastated that I could not share that moment with my father. When we pulled into the driveway of the AirBnb and I saw my family car I fell to pieces. My dad is my hero. He is the definition of selfless. He has sacrificed so much for my family and it does not go unnoticed or unappreciated. I love you daddy🤍
