This picture is from a wedding I had the pleasure of being part of as the makeup artist in pre-covid times. How I cherish all the brides that have allowed me to be part of their big day, building special connections along the way. The height of wedding season was not the same this year and my heart goes out to all the brides that have had to cancel their weddings.

So far 2020 has been a whirlwind & a roller coaster of emotions to say the least. One thing I’ve had time (lots of time😅) to reflect on is to never take the little things or moments in our everyday lives for granted, they hold a lot of weight. I hope one thing we can all take away is to count our blessings. We always have something to be grateful for, wether it’s big or small. Let’s stay hopeful because better times are ahead❣️

As you may already know, yesterday Gov. Newsom mandated a closure of beauty salons, among other businesses. Sadly, that means that I can’t go back to work for the time being.

While I am bummed we have to close again I choose to focus on the positive. Being back at work, as brief as it was, and seeing many of my clients’ lovely faces has strengthened me and reminded me why I love being in my line of work. I look forward to connecting with everyone again hopefully sooner rather than later!
