There is a potential clientele available as well as some walk-in traffic

Chair rental/commission available

We offer an inviting and friendly environment to our clients, they always feel totally comfortable and welcome when receiving their hair services.

There is both free and paid parking available for staff and clients

Fresh highlights, feelin’ summer ☀️

It has been the craziest wave. A wave of starts and stops and starts again. Around 8 years ago I signed up for my first of many grade 12 classes to upgrade my transcript so I could apply for the Medical Laboratory Technologist Diploma.

Through these years I’ve jumped back into work behind the chair, while I continued to upgrade, and be with my boys when they were little. (It was a chaotic schedule) This past fall I buckled down and completed my classes with competitive marks and was ready to apply for my program.

I found out beginning of May I didn’t quite make the cut but was put on the wait list.

Bummer…

Last week, I had an email waiting for me with the incredible news that I had made it. I was accepted. My hard work has paid off. Wow !! What a surreal feeling.

The back and forth in hair was always driven primarily by the love for my clients and of course secondarily I loved the craft of cutting and colouring hair.
I can’t express enough how much my friendships with you ALL have meant to me over the years, some of you for almost my entire career, some a shorter time. It’s like being blessed with the biggest circle of unique friends anyone could ask for.

I’m sure glad that 6 years ago I walked into The Crop, looking for a place to work. What I found was a salon filled with the most wonderful group of stylists I had ever had the pleasure to work with and it’s been a breeze working with them.

I can’t thank you enough for your loyalty and support for me all these years and I hope this is a see you later rather than a permanent good bye. Please don’t be strangers.

I will be retiring my shears in August, I hope to see most of you for at least one more memorable visit. Check my online booking first and message me beyond that as I will do my best to accommodate everyone.

And don’t forget it !! I find as a hairstylist or really any aspect of myself I have to remind myself that I am all these things and it gives me courage and direction to where I need to be. Keep on rocking it 💪
