Every year I get to play with these beauties!!! Lisa, Cody, and Marissa have an epic Halloween party each year and I have had the honour and pleasure of working with them for more than 10 years now!!! They light up my fall every year and fill my heart right up to the brim.

I’ve been trying to get creative thinking about how to grow crops in my own backyard… so why not grow Scarlet runner beans in the driveway?

The plants look beautiful all season, especially once they really start getting going and then you get a fantastic bean crop right at the end of summer.

Although you have to pick them often because they can get absolutely massive and very tough!

I blanch them and drown them in peanut sauce!

Grilled carrot/cabbage salad
Tahini dressing
Kafta on Kale
Homegrown Herb chimichurri
Nasturtium
Pickled Jalapeño Pineapple chunks
